Activity competition: Get active!

Once the teams have found each other, they will organise a first activity week in May. This should be a normal week, not a special kind of sports project week. Each team member will then, each day, write down their own 'time of activity', recording the extent of their physical exercise. For this, everybody can use a special form called My time of activity.

It is totally up to you which type of activity you choose. You can run, jump, ride a horse, ride a bike, swim, take part in a throwing sport, do gymnastics, play ball games, swing your arms, walk up stairs - whatever you like doing best. You will find examples for activities on the 'activity' form. All you have to do is fill in your type of activity and note down the time you have spent
doing it.

At the end of the week, everybody will figure out his or her total time of physical activity. The individual results of all the team members will then be added up, entered on the form Time of activity - results and sent to the contact address, fax or email.

The results of each team will be published on the internet. You can check at any time to see how your team is doing in the competition.

Cheating is uncool!

When filling in the activity form, please don't forget:

  • Note down the exact time of activity, i. e. 70 minutes and not 2 - 3 hours!
  • Only real activity counts - standing around does not!
