Stuitbal
How it works
There are two teams in two fields. Each team has
4 players. A ball is thrown back and forth over
the centre line. The ball needs to touch the ground
in your own field before ending up in the other
field. If it does not, the other team scores a
point. The original game is played to a time limit.
A match has two halves of five minutes each.
Stuitbal is also played in the street. Every child
in the neighbourhood can take part. The more children
and the smaller the street the more fun you will
have.
Similar games in other countries
There is a similar, well-known game called "Faustball"
in Germany, but it is not usually played by children.
