The pillar of salt
How it works
One child tries to catch the others, who run away.
Whoever is caught becomes immobile, as if turned
into stone (pillar of salt). They are only allowed
to move again if another child touches them. The
"catcher" tries to avoid this by guarding
his "pillars". He or she tries to turn
everyone into stone. The last child to be running
freely will be the catcher in the next round.
