Watch out for sweet and fatty food!

Of all foods, it is sweets that are most often targeted at children and teenagers. And the main ingredients of these are sugar and fat! Products claiming to be "sugar free" often contain a lot of fat, or vice versa. Images can give you the wrong impression too. A nice looking cornfield on the packaging doesn't mean that this is a wholemeal product! If you want to know what the ingredients are, it is best to read the small print on the packaging.
Therefore, read first, tuck in second!

The same applies to fast food: French fries with ketchup or mayonnaise, pizza, chicken nuggets, hamburgers and Coke are real "calorie bombs". One 0.3 litre bottle of Coke contains 12 lumps of sugar and ketchup is another "super sweetie"! An average salami pizza contains 35 grams of fat and has around 800 calories, more than a quarter of your recommended daily calorie intake.

So remember, fast food and Coke are okay occasionally, but don't eat them every day!
