Exciting sporting facts

Like the other Baltic States, Lithuania took part in the 1992 Barcelona Olympics as an independent country for the first time since the Second World War. To make things perfect, Romas Ubartas won the gold medal for the discus throw while the Lithuanian basketball team won the bronze medal.
